1. Controller

BeSchuur
Owner: Dipl.-Ing. Bernhard Schuur
Am Eselsweg 50
55128 Mainz
Germany

E-mail: info@sdi-analyzer.com

2. Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the informational website available at www.sdi-analyzer.com. The website does not provide user accounts, online purchases, a newsletter, a contact form or an online contract process.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS processes technical connection data on behalf of BeSchuur to deliver the website securely and reliably. An agreement on commissioned processing pursuant to Article 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are the secure, stable and technically error-free operation of the website, error analysis and protection against misuse.

4. Server log files

The hosting infrastructure records information transmitted automatically by the browser, including:

  • Anonymised IP address of the requesting device
  • Date and time of the request
  • Requested file or URL
  • Referrer URL
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system and device type
  • HTTP status code and transferred data volume

According to the current IONOS documentation, IP addresses in the available webserver log files are anonymised and log data is retained for a maximum of eight weeks. The logs are used for secure website operation, error analysis and protection against misuse.

5. IONOS WebAnalytics

IONOS WebAnalytics is active for this website. It statistically evaluates the automatically generated webserver log data; no additional analytics script is embedded in the website. According to IONOS, WebAnalytics does not use cookies. The IP address transmitted when a page is requested is anonymised immediately after transmission and subsequently processed without personal reference.

The evaluated information comprises the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, access time and an anonymised IP address used to determine the approximate location of access. IONOS states that the data is used exclusively for statistical evaluation and technical optimisation of the website and is not disclosed to third parties.

To the extent that personal data is processed before anonymisation, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interests are understanding the general use of the website, improving its content and ensuring technically reliable operation.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The public website does not set cookies and does not use local storage, session storage or comparable browser storage for tracking or profiling. The password-protected resource area uses one strictly necessary session cookie to retain successful authentication. The cookie contains only a random session identifier, is marked Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict, and expires when the browser session ends. Server-side access also expires after eight hours of inactivity.

The authentication cookie is required to provide the explicitly requested protected area and is not used for analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking. No consent banner is used because the current implementation does not use consent-requiring cookies, external tracking scripts or embedded third-party content.

7. Contact by e-mail

If you contact BeSchuur by e-mail, the information contained in the message, including your contact details, is processed to respond to the enquiry and to handle possible follow-up questions.

For product and pre-contractual enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. For general business, technical or partnership enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is responding to business-related communications. E-mail data is not disclosed to third parties unless required to process the enquiry, fulfil a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

8. Display of the contact address

On the general contact page, the e-mail address is assembled locally in the browser only after the visitor requests it. This interaction does not transmit information to BeSchuur and does not store data. The legal contact address is displayed directly on the Legal Notice and this Privacy Policy.

9. Downloads and protected resources

Static product documents and demonstration videos may be made available in a password-protected resource area. No user account or registration is created. The submitted shared password is verified on the server against a one-way password hash and is not stored in plaintext. After successful verification, the technically necessary session described above is established.

The password and session are used only to authorise access to the requested resources. Accesses, video requests and file downloads may be recorded in the server log files described above. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interests are controlled distribution of additional product material and protection against unrestricted automated access.

10. External services and international transfers

The website does not load external fonts, embedded videos, maps, social-media plugins, advertising networks or third-party tracking scripts. No transfer of website visitor data to recipients outside the European Economic Area is intended through the website itself.

11. Data recipients

Technical hosting and WebAnalytics data is processed by IONOS on behalf of BeSchuur. E-mail data may be processed by the providers involved in transmitting and hosting e-mail. Data is otherwise disclosed only where required by law, necessary to fulfil a request or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

12. Retention

Personal data is deleted when it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests in the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require longer storage.

13. Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You also have the right to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

Requests may be sent to the contact address stated above.

14. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for BeSchuur is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hintere Bleiche 34, 55116 Mainz, Germany.

15. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR takes place on this website.

16. Security

The website is delivered using TLS encryption. Technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Internet transmission can nevertheless not be guaranteed to be completely secure.

17. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy will be updated if the website, the services used or the applicable legal requirements change.
